A great review by a wonderful mom...
I belong to a message board about parenting. A thread was recently started about BabyLegs, and the posters were trying to decide if they were useful or frivolous. I LOVE our Babylegs, so I postedabout how I use them. I thought you'd enjoy hearing what others have to say about your product. My post below:
I think BabyLegs are extremely useful and not frivolous at all. They are so useful they require a list!
1. One size fits most. They are the only thing Dora won'toutgrow each season.
2. Dora has long legs, but a lot of baby clothing is designed for little butterballs with rounder proportions. When pants come up short, BabyLegs span the gap.
3. Riding in the carrier makes pants ride even higher. BabyLegs are the best way I've seen to keep Dora covered w/o extra bulkiness while she's hitching a ride in the carrier.
4. Dora has places to go, people to see; she's on the move and bare feet are best for her walking hobby. When she's not walking, I tug >the extra BabyLegs fabric down to cover her feet if I don't have socks handy.
5. It's colder outside than I realized!
Solution: Tug the extra Babylegs fabric over her feet. It's stretchy
enough that I've pulled them down over socks and shoes for a little
extra warmth.
6. It's cold inside! When Dora is feeling under the weather, diaper changes are much more comfortable when Dora lower body remains warm during the change.
7. BabyLegs make diaper-free, rash-prevention time cozy.
8.BabyLegs stay clear of diapers. Tights are a hassle to wrestle on and off, plus if the diaper leaks, the tights get wet too. If a diaper leaks when Dora is wearing Babylegs, they usually escape the inundation.
9. BabyLegs protect the knees of scooters and crawlers.
10. BabyLegs mesmerize young babies. Dora finds the patterns on her legs very interesting and I find having a wearable toy very efficient. Pair them with some interesting shoes, and Dora is good to go.
11. They are so friggin' cute! Dude, "cute" is not frivolous for babies, it's a way of life.
Since they'll fit for a few years, it's probably a good idea to wash them in a lingerie bag to preserve their condition. They are addictive; due to their friggin' cuteness, I now want most of the designs. Why I feel compelled to coordinate and funk up Dora's outfits to a T is beyond me, but there you have it.
